Terms and Conditions

Figgered guarantees privacy and confidentiality for clients and their content. The contact details of the client will be kept confidential.

All edited and proofread material remains the property of the client at all times.

Figgered will only contact the client for business purposes and to request that the client's name be used for promotional purposes, such as testimonials. The client's name will not be used without permission.

Figgered can give estimates of costs but reserves the right to give a final quotation once all the material to be edited/proofread has been seen by the editor.

Figgered will request payment before the edited/proofread material is returned to the client. Payment after completed work is possible if both parties agree to this.

Figgered reserves the right not to accept work in all circumstance. This applies particularly if it deems the material to be offensive or unlawful.

Figgered will advise the client immediately if the subject matter of the material is beyond the scope of the editor's expertise so that the client can quickly find an alternative service.

If Figgered is unable to carry out the work in the time requested by the client, Figgered will immediately let the client know so the client can find an alternative service.
